Made To Order – Step One
How It Works
Our made-to-order (MTO) program is the perfect option for those who wish to customize their shoes. MTO allows you to personally select the elements that make up a shoe, including the, color, combination, leather and sole choice. This program is available for all Boots and Buckles &Souliers models ever produced.
What Can Be Customized?
Shoe colour – choose from 20 different colours.
Shoe colour combination – combine 2 colours for pattern shoes
Sole Material –Only leather, leather withrubber forefront, lightweight rubber, evarubber.
Sole Color–Black or natural
Leather Type – Natural crust, suede, grain, croc embossed, snake embossed.
Delivery Time
The expected time from order placement to delivery is about 2-3 weeks. This can be longer and it can be shorter. We strive to be quicker, but would rather under-promise and over-deliver, rather than the contrary, especially considering current global COVID-related shipping and production delays.
Please bear in mind that there are many factors that can affect an MTO’s delivery time, and which may be out of our control. For example, if a specific leather is not in stock, an additional delay will be incurred in sourcing it before production can begin. Or if the shoe gets rejected by QC, it will then need to be remade which further delays around 2 weeks. This is the nature of shoemaking.

The Process
Selecting A Model
Any Boots and Buckles or Souliers, past or present, is available for customization via MTO. For example, if an older model catches your eye from one of our social media outlets, simply send the photo to us and we will arrange for a MTO based on that model, whether a direct copy or a variation with, for example, different detailing or hardware.
Choosing Leathers / Materials
We offer a selection of leathers and fabrics for use in MTO orders, and many of them can be seen on homepage. However, if you are interested in a material seen on an earlier Boots and Buckles or Souliersor even on a shoe from another manufacturer, send a photo of the style in question to us, and we will source the desired material as best as possible.
